Here children learn to read the wind before many other things. The Luanco Sailing School has been turning out sailors from this inlet for generations — and today it is far more than sailing: camps, paddle surf, kayak, surfing, snorkelling and even fishing.
Its international residential camps are the jewel of the summer: Summersailing (€920/week or €1,750/two weeks) and Aventura Mar (€760/week or €1,380/two), both Sunday to Sunday, full board with accommodation at the Cabo Peñas nature hostel. Real active tourism: you learn while having fun, with Saturday excursions and evening activities.
Not staying over? The full-day camp (8 h, €320/week) includes transport, a sailing course, paddle, kayak, surfing, snorkelling, fishing, big sup and afternoons of games on the beach. The half-day one (3 h, €150/week) is perfect to start. Ages 4 to 17, with qualified instructors and safe boats.
